Raise Your Hand and Bid Your Heart

3:30pm - Buyer Registration

4 pm — Buyer Dinner

5 pm — 2025 Middle Park Junior Livestock Sale

Please join us at the Middle Park Fair Junior Livestock Sale! It’s the end of the year event for our local 4-H and FFA youth who raised market animals. Demonstrate to these youth, that hard work and pride of accomplishment are still worth the effort by becoming a buyer!

Individuals - Stock your freezer with top quality meat, share your purchase with a friend or give as gifts to friends and relatives.

Businesses - Treat your employees to a BBQ or holiday gifts. Tell your customers you’re a buyer and supporter of Middle Park 4-H and FFA. You may also donate your purchase to be resold and the sale proceeds will go to the charity of your choice.

Restaurants - It’s an added benefit  to serve the best meat available. Why not serve locally grown meat while helping out the youth of our county.

Most buyers request to have their purchase processed for their freezer. The sale committee will transport your purchase to the processor. The meat will be cut and wrapped to your specifications and returned to a central pickup point in Kremmling.

You will receive a framed photograph of the 4-H or FFA member with their animal. Buyers are encouraged to pose in the photo for display at your home of business. You also receive free publicity in the local newspapers following the sale and a listing in next year’s fair program.

How It’s Done

As each animal is led into the auction ring, the auctioneer will ask for bids by the head. If you wish to bid on an animal, raise your hand to signal your bid. If you have questions or if you need help bidding there will be a number of auction assistants in the area. If you are the highest bidder you will be asked to pay for the animal plus processing charges the night of the sale and to give meat processing instructions to the sale clerk.

Thank you on behalf of the Middle Park Junior Livestock Sale Committee, The Middle Park 4-H Council, the CSU Extension Office in Grand County, Middle Park Fair & Rodeo and ALL of the
4-Her’s and their families.
